MYTH 1: “I have to lose weight first.”
Truth: No, babe. You don’t.
You do not need a “perfect body” to book a boudoir shoot—because spoiler: there’s no such thing. We work with all bodies, all shapes, all sizes, all phases of life. Our sessions are rooted in body acceptance and celebration, not unrealistic beauty standards.
What makes you beautiful in front of the camera? Your presence, your story, your glow. Not the size of your jeans.
MYTH 2: “I’m not sexy/confident enough.”
Truth: You don’t have to feel confident to look confident.
Most of our clients walk in nervous, unsure, even apologetic (“Sorry, I’m awkward!”). And that’s okay—we guide you every step of the way. From outfit ideas to poses to emotional support, we’ve got you.

Truth: Only if you want it to be.
You get to decide what you wear—and what you don’t. Some people go full nude, others stay in robes, bodysuits, oversized shirts, or even jeans. There’s no pressure and no expectation. Your comfort is always the priority.
Boudoir is about confidence, not clothing.
MYTH 5: “It’s only for your partner.”
Truth: It can be—but it doesn’t have to be.
Some clients book boudoir shoots as a gift for a partner. Others do it after a breakup, during a glow-up, or just for themselves. One of our favorite things to hear is:
“I did this thinking it would be for someone else—but it ended up being all for me.”
Boudoir can absolutely be romantic. But it’s just as powerful when it’s personal.
MYTH 6: “It’ll be awkward.”
